How to correctly install and use RP1226 to J1939 cable?

The installation process

Cable laying: Lay cables according to the planned path. When laying, the cable should be kept naturally extended to avoid excessive bending, twisting, or stretching. When cables pass through metal holes or pipes, protective sleeves or insulation pads should be used to prevent the cable sheath from being scratched.

Interface connection: Connect the RP1226 end to the corresponding diagnostic equipment or monitoring system, ensuring a secure connection, plug it in and lock it in place. Connect the J1939 terminal to the J1939 interface on the vehicle or industrial equipment, ensuring a tight connection and preventing looseness. During the connection process, attention should be paid to the pin definitions and connection methods of the interface to avoid device damage or communication failures caused by incorrect pin connections.

Fixed cable: Use cable ties, clamps, and other tools to secure the cable in the installation position, preventing displacement or wear of the cable due to vibration or shaking during vehicle or equipment operation. The spacing between fixed points should be reasonably set according to the length of the cable and the laying environment. Generally, fixed points are set at regular intervals.
